suffix.

I don't know my password.
Your information technology department has set an initial password for your account. You will
need to contact them for your inital password.
If you have setup your password reset question and answer on our
account self service site, you may regain access
to your account.

Is my account setup?
Each university's information technology department has the responsibility to setup accounts.
The following universities have setup some accounts, but not for all users. If you are unsure
if you have a PASSHE account, please contact your local Information Technology Department.

I get an error when logging in, what does it
mean?
Password Expired: Your password has expired. PASSHE password expire every 90 days.
To reset your password, visit the Account Self Service
site.
Account Locked: Your account has been locked out. There were too many invalid login
attempts on your account. Either wait 15 minutes, or visit the
Account Self Service site.
Username Password Incorrect: You are not correctly entering your username or password.

What does "Remember me on this computer"
mean?
If you check this box before you submit your login, a cookie will be placed on your computer
with your username, user ID, full name, and group membership so that the next time you visit
our website you will not need to login.
This cookie is valid for 14 days after you login, after which it will expire and require you
to login again.

I'm logged in, but it says I must belong
to a certain group. Now what?
For certain applications, we have specific groups setup that you must be a member of to be
able to access the application. If you receive this error, you will need to contact your IT
department requesting access to the specific group displayed on the error page. Such applications
include, but are not limited to:
- PASSHE HRS Application -- HRS-Employee group
- System Accountability Matrix application -- SAM-Users group
- Common Cost Accounting Application -- CCAR_Users group
- Financial Aid Administrative Console -- FAAC_Users group

Do I have to login to use this site?
No.
If you are an employee of any PASSHE university, you may login and view extra material which
is not displayed to users who are not logged in.

After you signin, in the upper right hand corner of the screen will be a link to logoff. As
an extra measure of precaution, after you logoff be sure to exit your browser.

What is the little circle thing in my address
bar?
You may notice a small envelope in the address bar of your browser that looks like this:
